🚔 1. Police Can’t Arrest You Without a Copy of FIR (For Non-Cognizable Offenses)
If it’s a non-cognizable offence (e.g., slapping, verbal threats, defamation), police CANNOT arrest you directly.

✅ They must get a magistrate’s permission first
✅ You must receive a copy of the FIR before any action

💡 Ask: “Is it a cognizable or non-cognizable offence?”

👮‍♂️ 2. No Officer Can Take Your Phone Without a Warrant
Unless you’re part of an active investigation, police:

❌ Cannot snatch your phone
❌ Cannot check WhatsApp, gallery, messages

If they tow or take your keys: ✅ They must issue a written challan with correct IPC/MV section
✅ They cannot drive your vehicle without your consent

✅ No male cop can:

Search a woman

Arrest a woman between 6PM to 6AM

Interrogate without another woman present
